Developing the business in South East Asia for the founder who was based in the U.S.
The Solution
Facilitate compliance, coordinate communications and activities performed locally to establish the company and hire all the staff needed to run his business.
After establishing the business the challenge was to develop a plan to create a market for a service that had not existed before in this particular country.
How did we help?
We worked with the founder and his local team to overcome the challenges of operating in a market that is very different from the U.S. by enabling him to effectively manage the local team remotely and hiring the sales and marketing team as well as data scientists and developers for the e-commerce effort.
This involved business planning, operations management, recruitment support, strategy development & execution and vetting & selection of key local partners. Support on importing high value machines that had previously never been available locally was also provided.
The Result
Market entry strategy and execution plan for penetrating the Asian market with set objectives and milestones along with step by step guidance to achieve them.
